same here on radio reception, use them for just the same reason you do. overall a good buy, do what I need them to do, and if the radio doesn't come in, I just consider it a good to reflect and plan!
I will say there are so nice when mowing the lawn. keeps the dirt and junk out of my ears. makes the lawn mowing experience much more tolerable!
