Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Many sprayers have used this concept of putting a ball valve in line after the control and flowmeter. This ball valve is a normal ball valve with a small hole drilled perpendicular to the original hole.
Thus when the valve is open it is fully open but when the valve is closed, it is not really closed but still provides a restricted path for the flow. The idea is that the restriction will provide some additional backpressure at lower rates to help keep the system stable. |
