I seem to have enough room in mine for 3 totes or pallets but I wish I would have went with the wider 102 inch trailer. As far as check valve the only thing I have worried about is if my transfer pump ran out of gas while unloading cone but I make sure I stand right there until the cone is empty and rinsed.
