You are totally correct I just redid a ac on my dads 5288 because the compressor must of failed prior to his ownership and they didn't flush it and he was having problems with it and I looked into it and the expansion valve had a bunch of crap in it and it took 3 cans of flush to finally get all the rubber pieces and metal out of the lines.
How hard is it to do your own tractor AC work?
