Dix (Boyd), IL | I've had the same problem with an original ATU on a JD 8200 using swath control on a redball sprayer and on two JD planters. Same problem. Mine also seems to be when I have a lower signal. It's really frustrating when the GS2 thinks the sprayer is in front of the tractor and shuts off the valves before you get to the headland. Grnstar suggests to unplug the receiver on the front of the cab for thirty seconds, then let it re-acquire. That's a pain. They also suggested driving in a tight circle. That doesn't work, and can have obvious problems when spraying post. I've experienced this problem even with just documenting, without the rate controller hooked up. So it seems to be more of a guidance issue than a swath control issue. You would think they could program a way to manually select your travel direction to override this problem. I guess we don't have any choice but to wait for JD to fix this.
I wonder, has anyone ever experienced this running RTK? | |
