southern MN | I'd guess you are about right on that.
Farming doesn't work that way, so your question is a good one, but none of use can relate to it.
If you are big and shiney new, you have bigger equipment than that and on a lease and roll program.
If you are small enough then you started out with old used equipment and traded your way up to 3-5 year old equipment over time, and never have a new set of equipment one year.
So, its hard to answer the question as posed, because it doesn't relate well.
