| John, you are on to something there--About 40 years ago when we were running 45 &55 toy Johndeeres there was acoupling on the clean grain elevator between fuselage (?) of combine and the elevator. About 12-14" long. I took that part off, and wrapped ( I think) 1/8" heavy screen---grain went across to elevator fine but pigweed seeds etc. fell out to ground. Originally to rid sample of dirt from soybeans but it sure did the job---Showing my age for sure on this one. lol----Lloyd | |
