Thats the good part about corn to ethanol, all of the crude protein (more than 750 lbs per acre @ trendline corn yeilds) still finds it's way into the food chain. This is more crude protein produced per acre than Wheat or Soy.

Use the starch for fuel, and the protein, phosphorus, potassium for animal and human nutrition.

Certainly better to feed our corn and distillers here, than exporting our raw corn with all that protein (of which 16% is nitrogen - works out to about 130 lbs per acre), phosphorus, potassium, and other micros overseas only to turn around and import those fertilizer nutrients back to the US.

Just some thoughts,

Ron
