The argument that some guys are trying to make, is kinda like the argument that Dr's and Administrators salaries don't affect health care costs. Or, maybe the price of tires doesn't really affect the price of a new car. I don't know, it may be small, but it can't be ignored.
If you read SC's article, it's basically saying that we're going to have to decide if we are going to price grains based on BTU's or protein. If the world demand for food keeps going, we may not be able to do both.
