For the AP I think that the red and yellow lights are OK. If the yellow is flashing, that means it is working ( most of the time  ). You could unplug your computer from the router and plug it into the AP and see if you have a connection.

Another way is to ping the AP and see if you have a connection. I think the default address is 192.168.1.245 if I'm not mistaken.

You could also simply enter the AP address  into the browser address bar and hit enter. If you reach the AP login page, you know you have a connection.

I don't have an answer for the Print Server.
