Ravenna, NE USA | I just got mobile a few weeks ago, I haven't really used it much yet. The software booted and recognized the GPS feed from my PDA right away so I guess that's a start. I'm hoping to use it during scouting this summer and for doing boundaries, we'll have to see what uses develop from there. I'd also like to use the logging feature in our sprayer which has a lightbar only, but I've been busy with other stuff so that got shelved until later. There are several quick reference sheets that can be downloaded for the software, but real documentation is pretty sparse. I opted for a different ruggedized PDA (a TDS Nomad, TDS is a division of Trimble) than the one AgLeader packages with the software, but it seems to be working fine. So I guess I'm not much help as far as real use, but I do have high hopes. If I learn anything else, I'd be happy to post it, please do likewise. | |
