To be on level playing fields farmers should be able to depreciate 15%+ of their corn as it comes out of the bin. Domestic producers of energy get a tax credit on the asset they are pulling out of the ground as depreciation. I ask once again, if tight oil recovery is such a great idea why doesn't the rest of the world do it?
