Subject: RE: One last round of grazing

south east Indiana
The turnips were broadcast 4# to the acre roughly. I did that after the sheep had eaten the grass down so there was good contact with the soil. It rained the day after I broadcast and a little later but after that it has been dry till this week. I did soil tests which look fairly good so the only thing I can come up with is the soil is compacted. This was part of the corn field until I seeded it with grass a few ago. It has been no tilled corn/soybeans for years.

The blue marks are just a way so I can tell which of the ewes I dewormed/ vaccinated ect in a pen. The dogs hold them tightly in a corner of the pen I deworm them and they get a mark saying they are done.
