Ok I kinda got railed by this post however I will say a max bid should be just that and if I put a $1000 max bid on a $50 part does not mean that the auction company should run me up to $990 because they just happen to know my max bid.
Just note to all that bid on online auction is do not ever put in a max bid.

I'm sure this won't come across right but I really mean NOTHING personal by it. A person probably shouldn't put a $1,000 max bid on a $50 part either. I've never been to an auction where there wasn't some sort of angle. Auction companies ALL like bidders to think that there is the possibility of a bargain but behind the scenes try to tilt the playing table towards them and the seller. Whether there is or isn't something "crooked" going on you likely won't ever really know what went on either. It's just the way the game is played. Education always costs us one way or another right?
