Yes, Ron is correct about small orders. Most places have minimums which may be difficult for the average farmer to meet.

Usually the minimun is based on the total value of the order so if you need some other supplies you may be able to get around the minimum by ordering something else. Since the Waytek folks have a large supply of 12V items, many farmers will probably see something else in the catalog to push their order over the minimum.

In some cases, the minimum applies to a minimum number of like items (they don't want to go to the bin and only pull out one). I have run into a few situations where I see an item that I think will work for a special project but am not sure if this is really what I need. Some places will send you a "free sample" for your evaluation. Their hope is that you will like the item and order more in the future. This has worked out well for me on a few occasions. I suspect they only do this for established accounts.
