sw Nebraska
They usually stop at shale about 400 feet or so here in SW Nebraska. I know from the gas wells around here there is deeper water but assume it is brackish. My friends from Stratford TX used to talk about Redbed which I assumed was bedrock, so are these 800 and 1000 foot wells actually go through the bedrock layer or do you have gravel or other water bearing layers, down to the 800-1000 foot levels?
