| My mistake,,,guess I was looking at the garage roof thinking it was the house roof with the chimney there. I see by your new pics you patched up the old vents and cut the new ridge. NOW those shingles will last longer than the last ones. Those last shingles got heat cooked from the bottom up. Good job you have done,,,,no great. I agree with you however,,,for the small extra cost to ridge vent the gaage money would have been well spent.
Maybe you can talk the NEW owner into putting it on as soon as he buys it. Ridge vent is easy retro fit later.
