Subject: MachineryLink and AgLeader

Gibson City, IL
We get a 9760 STS from MachineryLink to harvest with. We use an Agleader Insight for our yield monitor. This means that I have to cut two holes in the clean grain elevator in order to install. Now machinerylink is saying no more holes. What do I do? I really feel that the Agleader monitor is more accurate than the JD monitor. Plus all of our VRT stuff goes through the Insight system and SMS. Any of you have a suggestion, idea, anything?

The only thing that I have come up with is to buy my own fountain auger and install the moisture sensor in it like Agleader used to do. The issue with that is I will probably have to replace my moisture sensor every year or two ($450). Plus a fountian for a 9770 STS which we will be getting starting in 09 is only $1300. They will let us cut holes this year yet.

Anyone else out there in this same scenario?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Randy
