Central Kansas | Thanks guys for the information. Maybe the "fixed" gear and aircraft change comes from an accident that happened here at our airport last Spring. Our small airline used to fly the Pilatus PC12s with retractable gear and upon landing here, the crew on one flight forgot to put it down....a big OPPS..................needless to say, the 2 crew members were fired the next day.
Would be a rude awaking to see the prop stop rotating in front of you. | |
