East Central SD | Hey - you guys forgot to tell about walking to and from school, uphill both ways. Haahaa - just kidding. I'm old enough to remember those scorching hot summer days, it felt like you were standing too close to a fire. It sure was hard to sleep at night... our basement was cool but for some reason I don't remember ever sleeping down there. We worked right through that beastly hot weather... I guess that's why I can take a lot of heat and humidity now but these days I try to schedule a job where I can sit in the tractor during the hottest part of the day. Yep - starting to sound like a "old timer" sigh.... | |
