I can't believe it's July.  It's nice.  It's cool and not too humid.  When I was growing up I hated about 2 weeks in July as that's when we combined oats.  I was stuck on the wagon leveling it off and the when the bin got full I had to climb in and level the oats in the bin.  Just me, a steel shovel, one million bugs and 110º temperature under the tin roof.

Then at nigh I slept up stairs on the floor because it was cooler than my bed.  We had one little fan which dad never used and wouldn't let me use upstairs because there were no outlets.  We would have had to get an adapter to go into the ceiling light and run an extension cord  which would in my dads mind been expensive, dangerous, too much trouble for such a short time that it was hot.

I'd have loved to have had weather like we have this year.  It was 57º this morning and will only get into the low 80's today.  Not only that be we have a nice breeze.
It's a beautiful July . . .  so far.
