| Here in north Iowa, I've noticed the last couple days the tile lines are really showing up as the area between the lines is not growing and turning yellow. This area would comprise about two thirds of a field being held back. The other major wildcard is the fact that we have lost untold N, and I am not willing to throw more money into this crop. Pretty sure that would be the rule rather than the exception. Seems like for the umpteenth year, ready to call it a year, take what I get, and look forward to next year. | |
