jackson county WI | I will be getting bull calves out of my uncles dairy herd and was wondering what type of vaccine a guy could give young calf? He doesn't vaccinate his heifers until they are weaned, this is a closed dairy herd for about the last 20 yrs. They are kept in barn in with milk cows in a pen of 5-10 for first month and then put out in a shed for another month once they are weaned they come to my place where they will get mixed with sale barn cattle, they then get castrated, dehorned, implant, and vaccine. Just wondering if there is something we can give them perhaps when they are born or within a few days? | |
