N FLA | Found a new calf here today from a cow I bought 5m bred in march. Otherwise 10 calves here. All dewormed tagged and castrated where required. Should sell those 10 pairs at a special Labor Day sale. About 15 more bred cows here that are late summer to fall calvers. Put 3 cows that tested open on May 1 on the trailer for Monday sale. Had 4, but one jumped a 4' fence. They were cows bought open for weight gain on the original winter program. Still have about 8 or so that tested open in May to sell on the cull market, but thry eere at the other farm. I need to get the DDG supplement here to this farm. This grass isn't cutting it for many of these cows. Plenty of quantity but not much quality. We rented the farm this summer. Needs chicken litter to turn it around.
