SW WI | We never bother to try getting oat bales dry. Cut it shortly after it heads out for the best quality. I had a short window started cutting 3pm Father's Day, had a good drying day the next day and was baling by 5. Hauled in and wrapped by 9. Potash applied and then inch of rain @ 11pm. Sometimes it actually works out as planned.
Bales were really heavy but our dairy heifers will devour them
