As to your question, that tool will do the job for you--as will all the other suggestions. I don't know the specific product you linked to, but several years ago, I bought a unit (Stanley, maybe?) at the local lumber yard for a good bit less than they're asking in that ad. For rare use, a homeowner grade unit is more than enough.
