| Do you believe that the potential "surpassing" was done intentionally via lack of industrial cooperation due to a greater focus being placed on differentiating features as a means to add value in order to promote sales growth?
I personally view the cooperation of the majors for ISO11783 to be two-faced. Up front, they are all proactive and willing to concede and work together for a common goal for the good of the marketplace. However, behind the scenes, I see them as remaining focused on proprietary development and how to overcome the nearest competitor(s), which negatively affects the position of the non-majors who are often working more diligently than all trying to gel the progress together in order to remain focused and on-track. But, at the end of the day, being "solid, stable..." is all that matters, an attempt by all majors, not just a single one. | |
