S Illinois | What changes will terrorists have in their tactics now because of this trade? Will they be less likely to try and kill soldiers and instead capture them? It does not make much sense that a enemy that is trying to kill US soldiers, will change their tactics so that they can try to capture instead. It seems like it would take more terrorist energy, resources, and more exposure to being killed to capture someone versus just fighting them and then slink away like cowards. Now if we were talking about private citizens or other soft targets, then that point may be made, but capturing soldiers is a very high cost endeavor for terrorists to undertake. | |
