| Have had the same thoughts. And yeah, that 'market' may be saturated, but as with any other profession...there's a few good lawn and landscape outfits, and a whole lotta bad ones. Just by showing up on time, you'll be a step ahead of a lot of 'em.
FYI...when I can't mow my own lawn (a little over one acre), I pay a local service (two guys and a trailer full of equipment) about $90, including a small tip. I don't have them set up for a regular visit, I just call as needed...
