Kingston,Mi | Might want to check with who ever licenses plant nursery's about inspections for disease and insects. As JayCee's we were given a 2 row windbreak that someone had planted directly under a electric service line, by the time the plant inspector had been through the stand and had marked the various insect pests that had to be controlled before they could be legally sold as large transplants ( we did move under cover of darkness about 100 trees to shelter our football field that were 6 to 8 ft. tall), it became clear to us that these were outstanding examples of wild looking Christmas trees and proceeded to sell them off over a 2 or 3 year period.
Plant inspector might have been easier to deal with if he had inspected the first transplants without our end run around the system. | |
