North West Missouri | In the process of making triticale balage between rains. Last year followed triticale with forage soybeans and got along well but thought I should maybe try at least some sorgo-sudangrass just to diversify some. Talked to Byron Seed dealer who recommended their 6402 bmr6 variety. $83 a bag. Talked to Missouri Southern dealer who recommends their "Supreme". $56 a bag, same characteristics as Byron. Cant really find anyway to compare as to whos best. One guy who Ive always thought was fairly sharp on this kinda thing said theirs almost difference when it comes to sorgo-sudangrasses. Seems to be a Huge difference in price! Any suggestions appreciated. | |
