If that's the case, then how come so many dairy cows eat urea every day?  I have fed tons of it.  It's not something you put out for them free choice, but to say urea damages the reproductive system as a blanket statement is just not true.  After all, that's what a rumen does; take basic elements and assemble them into protein and carbohydrates that the cow can use.
