NC Iowa | i can't help you on a doctor but i have a new way to helping deal with appointment delays. probably 8 years ago now, i had a colonoscopy scheduled through the va. instead of going to des moines, they said i could go to the local hospital. after going through the prep, i wasn't in a great mood to start with and i waited for 1.25 hours past my appointment time. when i was finally called, i totally lost it and gave the entire staff the biggest blow up my wife has ever seen from me. the nurse was so shook up they had to call in a replacement. i had a meeting with the hospital ceo then next day too.
for the follow up appointment, i gave them my cell phone number and told them to call me when the doctor was ready to see me. they called about 45 minuets after the scheduled time and i drove the 3 miles and when i got there i had no wait time.
don't know if that will work for you, but is is much less stressful if you can be shopping or working on something and have them call you when they are ready for you.
