North West IA/western AZ | After the wedding Friday night Tim took us out to the Gordon Ramsey restaurant. Imagine my thoughts as I scanned the menu and thought about the post a while back about a $40+ steak. I tried to not look at the prices, but the American something filet I ordered was north of $50 and everything was aka cart. I was very disappointed with the piece I got, a piece of sinew winding thru it made it tough. Had it not been their special night, I would have brought it up to the waiter. For that price they should have inspected every steak. I will have a much better fillet when I get back to LeMars IA and go to Archie's Steakhouse (and I'll let you know the price). | |
