NE Iowa | Get the tedder. I'm not far from you and wouldn't want to make hay without one anymore. With a 15' cut your swaths will only cover half the ground. You will need an extra day or more to dry without one. That extra day is hard to come by without rain most years. The most benefit from tedding comes from getting the maximum amount of sun exposure. I ted right after it is cut. In general it is nice to be able to ted 2 swatch of whatever you mow with. Probably a 6 rotor would be best. Keep the rake. | |
