North Mo. | I am unable to remember the dates but years ago I grazed cereal rye till it looked like a pool table took cows off planed on putting beans in. Rain kept on coming by the time I got to the field the rye was tall enough the blooms where getting in the rad. of a Ford 7700. Ground was also compacted but the drill did OK. The problem was it turned hot and dry beans did little.
So my thoughts based on my ex. is spray and let the rye be a mulch. By the way this is want my son is doing for the most part. | |
