North of London | It can play havoc with book keeping when you want a receipt for your books too.
Had some work done last year and when it came time to settle up he offered a discount if I paid cash.
I told him I did not keep that much cash around and would just issue a cheque as it was not worth it to get cash out of bank etc.
Discount got bigger and finally I decided it was big enough to pay for trip to bank and cash withdrawal so I made the withdrawal the exact amount he wanted and made a note on the receipt that it was cash on that day.
figured if auditors come to see me I am covered and they can move on to his books.
Sometimes think maybe an anonymous tip would be a good idea so everyone is paying their share. | |
