... you can kludge around the unlock.   For years prior to the unload becoming available, we had growers create load names like L09R77, which they knew meant that 33Y09 was on the left, and 34K77 was on the right.  Then, back in the office, you can turn this data into split planter data for map display and harvest yield analysis.  

But this scheme falls apart if you are wanting to use the Insight logged planting maps for automatic variety assignment at harvest.
