North End I-15 | Fun to watch the antics as they all fight for the same mouse . Lots of other mice to be seen running away but all the gulls wanted the one in the flying catchers gulls mouth .
I was told they cant swallow while flying , but thats not true . After several mid air fights and a few drops and retrievals , the original gull swallowed the mouse whole , head first in flight .
Have seen them gore them selves on wire worm larva till they could not fly . Dad caught one and made it regurgitate , out came a huge pile of wire worm larva . the Gull squawked and flew off . It was so full it could not get away from the tractor and gang of disc's .
I have a ceramic gull on my mantel of fire place
