Being near a river we have thousands of gulls visit us when we do tillage work. They eat earth worms but also pay us back with fertilizer. One thing I have noticed is the abundance of earth worms compared to years back. I credit that to using GMO corn without insecticides. I took some pictures of all of the earth worms and rubbed it in the nose of some of my anti-GMO friends. They didn't know how to answer that one!
