Around here lots of land went to crp in the '80's and stayed until last 5-10 yrs. Some good ground, some would only produce 1 yr in 10. Any crp left in Iowa? Or step on other tenants. Try yearly mailers with picture of your wife and kids (Christmas card) to all land you want to rent.
