Farm by example, people will notice and you will be approached.
That is an outdated approach that won't work with absentee landlords who will never see the type of farmer you are.
We've started discussions with our bank's trust officers, our lawyer, and local real estate agents to get the word out that we are looking for more farm ground to lease.
If no one knows you are looking for more land they won't offer land to you.
