North Dakota		I've had several crowns put on. My teeth also break off in random chunks, usually where there is an old filling. Last two were a year ago, $900 each and the dentist made them in one sitting. He ground the old filling out then took "photos" of the tooth and a machine made the crowns while I was in the chair. No temp crown or going back a second time to get it put on.

Don't just pull them out, I guarantee you will not be happy. I have several friends that have done that and suffer now.
