The guys is nuts, maybe he can say he had PTSD from all the previous break-ins.

I'm willing to bet this whole deal will significantly reduce the number of B&E's in northern MN. Even the meth-heads might think twice.

Local guy and his wife had a group of people break in, beat them up and steal his guns. I'm curious where the line for premeditated would have been drawn if he had a loaded gun by his bedside?

Complaining about people using up court resources by disputing traffic tickets? This judge just did what most do, didn't want to make a controversial decision and passed the buck to another judge, saving his position as a judge and starting a long drawn-out appeals process. In a few years when this is forgotten and out of the media another judge will reduce the charges. No way will murder 1 stick This guy didn't go out hunting them. He sat in his house.
