| When I was younger I did quite a bit of custom work. Mainly drilling soybeans & harvesting beans & corn but did some tillage work as well. At the time the money came in handy but in the long run I had to trade equipment more often which negated the extra income. Also, there was times that I had to pull out of my crops because a client wanted theirs harvested. One guy promised to rent me his ground when he got his other business going but when that time came I didn't even get a sniff. Lesson learned & remembered. | |
