Yeah, we had warnings up for several hours, but that storm sure popped up fast related to the looks of the sky beforehand. Two guys from the National Weather Service were here this afternoon........they'd been surveying damage in Oskaloosa and Ottumwa, so stopped by here.......and they believe it was indeed a tornado, EF1, and that it formed initially just about at our place. We are so very thankful that all the damage we have to contend with is right there at the shop/bin site, no houses were hurt and it's all confined to one general area. Some superficial damage to a couple of tractors, a boom on a sprayer doesn't seem to wanna boom any more, and we don't have a functional auger left on the place, but that will all fix. The only personal injury was after the fact and will heal well.

We understand that the injured lady NE of us is not improving as hoped. She has our prayers, along with her family.
