| OK, found what I was looking for. I need to read this myself as I am really bad lately about letting this party or that occasion throw me for a loop and then not being able to get back on track. So check this out. This is just something I read.
I just read a post that made so much sense! No wonder we can go a year wondering why we haven't lost weight!
"Recently our WW leader started counting up the days when people think it is OK to go "off plan":
The rest of WI day: 1 per week x 52 weeks = 52
Weekends: Fri/Sat/Sun 3 per week x 52 weeks = 156
Birthday: self + spouse = 2
Birthday: kids + grandkids = 4
Anniversary: = 1
Holidays: = 10
Day before holiday and day after: = 20
Family Reunion: = 1
Total: 246 days when it is OK to go off plan, or 67% of the year.
It is OK to be on plan 33% of the year.
She didn't even include how some people take vacation off because it is too hard to plan and track on vacation." | |
