I turn mine out around 8:30 every morning and shut them up around 7 PM. That gives the coyotes time to disappear for the day. I give them just a little feed when I let them out on the grass and they all come running in the evening whenever I go to shut them up, they follow me into the pen then I walk back out and close the gate. the chicken coop is inside a chicken wire fence about 15 X 20 and while the coop has a door on it, I never shut it.

I really have my doubts about her cleaning up the little piles of manure that she raked up. sure didn't happen today.
