south central il. | It is simple math the rails love anything that fits in a tank car they get to charge more.Coal was always a steady player grain not so much.Big crop no crop.Oil will not replace coal but it will help.The BNSF line I farm next to was a coal line in the mud last year they raised the track and put in power switches speed limit 49 mph.This is all abought the oil.In the 80s they would have been glad to sell it off. | |
