I'd put the corn/protein all in the stuffer or all in the bunk. Nothing in between. I don't see you gaining anything but maybe losing big time doing it the way you describe. If you set it up decent it wouldn't be hard to bucket feed 50 or even 100 head.
Got your own mixer mill? Bunk feed directly from the mixer mill. No extra equipment needed.
